MiniFreak Vocoder is a bold evolution of Arturia’s hybrid synthesizer, combining dual digital sound engines, polyphonic analog filters, and advanced modulation with a 16-band vocoder and detachable gooseneck microphone. It lets users blend vocal or external audio with synth tones, producing everything from robotic choirs to spectral pads. With over 30 oscillator modes—including FM, wavetable, and granular—users can stack, shape, and modulate layers for rich, complex textures. A 64-step sequencer, arpeggiator, and responsive keybed with aftertouch inspire hands-on creativity, while onboard FX and stereo output ensure a polished, mix-ready sound. Integrated with the MiniFreak V plugin, it provides seamless software control and DAW compatibility.

MiniFreak V mirrors the hardware synth in your DAW, offering identical engines, presets, and controls. Switch between hardware and software for a flexible, hybrid workflow.

Vocoder & Mic

Shape vocals or external audio with a 16-band vocoder and included gooseneck mic. Choose from multiple modes like Clean or Gated, blend with synth engines, and apply effects for robotic, spectral, or talkbox-style textures.

Dual Sound Engines

Two digital engines with 31 oscillator modes offer everything from virtual analog to granular. Stack or cross-process them, then route through analog filters for a dynamic hybrid sound.

Modulation & Sequencer

Build evolving sounds using polyphonic modulation, customizable LFOs, and FM/RM. Animate patches with a 64-step sequencer, four lanes of automation, and performance-ready randomization tools.
